The City of Lee's Summit and the LS R-7 School District faced off this week in a duel of big announcements. OK, it wasn't really a face off. Nor was it a duel. But there was big news coming out of both City Hall and the Tony Stansberry Leadership Center as the mayor held his annual State of the City address and the R-7 Board of Education met and approved the CFMP team's recommendation to move 6th into the middle schools in 2022-2023 school year.
