Beginning next week, four local youth will take over the Town Hall Friday Conversation episodes on August 16, 23 and 30. This week, host Nick Parker sits down with Kerri Gray, Elizabeth Baldwin and Terry Trafton to talk about the Lee’s Summit Community Task Force on Youth Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, community-wide efforts to decrease associated stigmas and preview the three episodes produced by the youth to address these same topics in their words and for their peers. In the second half of the episode, Nick is joined by two of the four youth hosts as they get listeners ready for their podcast takeover.
