The Lee's Summit City Council swore in its new members, the council and public got a look at a replacement development for an aging fire station on the north end of town, and Seth Allen and Ryan Studer (owners of Libations & Co.) drop by the studio to talk about their impending move into the Historic Stanley building in downtown Lee's Summit.... A couple of incumbents remain in office and several newcomers are ready to step onto the dais for the Lee's Summit City Council and Lee's Summit R-7 Board of Education. Lee's Summit Town Hall hosts Nick Parker and Jason Norbury review the results and take a look at what we've learned from this latest election cycle and what the results could mean for the community going forward.

It's been way too long since we've hosted an in person Town Hall episode. In front of a live audience at Bridge Space in downtown Lee's Summit, Mayoral candidates Bill Baird and Diane Forte joined hosts Nick Parker and Jason Norbury for a conversation on local issues and their visions for the future of the community... And as an added bonus, we raised a little money for two local nonprofits — Hope House and Lee's Summit Social Services.
