Looking for some different perspectives as the BOE election approaches
Wednesday Mar 03, 2021
Wednesday Mar 03, 2021
There are many ways to evaluate the candidates in the upcoming election for two seats on the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District Board of Education. In past years, hosts Nick Parker and Jason Norbury have talked about their own perspectives and the lens they use to evaluate candidates and the role of the Board in the district. In an effort to offer more perspectives, the duo called in a former teacher and administrator to get his thoughts on school boards and their relationships with the district. Dr. John Schuler is a retired teacher and principal currently working as a consultant for the State of Missouri through the University of Central Missouri…. Editor’s note: Nick sounds like a cartoon villain in this episode. We don’t know why and we apologize. But Dr. Schuler is good and that’s what matters.

Let’s be honest here, folks. It’s February, we’re still in a pandemic and the news train is chugging a little slow.
