The big man himself joined hosts Nick Parker and Jason Norbury for a live stream conversation on Thursday, Dec. 17. During the event, Santa read some of his favorite holiday stories and took questions from those watching the stream.
In previous years, Link 2 Lee's Summit and the Lee's Summit Town Hall podcast has partnered with Budget Blinds of Lee's Summit to host Story Time with Santa as an in-person event. As with most other events, the COVID-19 pandemic forced a transition to virtual. During the event, online donations were accepted in support of Lee's Summit Social Services.

With construction winding down just as the pandemic hit, Chad Dumas and his ReeceNichols team had little fanfare when it moved into its new office building in downtown Lee's Summit. Chad joins hosts Nick Parker and Jason Norbury to talk about the new office and their efforts to support others during the pandemic by opening tabs at local restaurants for teachers, first responders, medical professionals and more.
