15 years ago (well in two months), Candace Jennings told her dad she'd like to take over the Whistle Stop Coffee & Mercantile business in downtown. Some members of the family were selling the business, and something told Candace she needed to take it on for herself. And now, the business is a thriving piece of the downtown Lee's Summit landscape, and this month celebrated its 30th anniversary. Candace popped into the vault to tell her Whistle Stop story and her passion for making coffee and creating relationships.
