Welcome to the Lee’s Summit Town Hall podcast, presented by Budget Blinds of Lee’s Summit. Join Nick Parker and Liesl Hays as they bring you the latest news, happenings, and events in and around Lee’s Summit every week.

In this episode, Nick and Liesl discuss the upcoming Tom Logan Memorial Bike Ride, also known as Tour de Lakes, which is set to return this summer with four different routes to choose from. They also cover the growing number of organizations that are opposing the proposed landfill development near the southern border of Lee’s Summit.

The podcast also highlights the Native Plant Sale on April 22nd, 2023, celebrating Earth Day, and featuring a Callery Pear Buyback program, as well as assistance in choosing native plants for your property. Voice. For Vanessa Hickman her work through Lee's Summit Cares is all about giving local youth an opportunity to use their voice and be heard when it comes to issues and conversations about them.
